The Project is to provide Consultancy Engineering services and studies to prepare a general master plan for Ras Mechab Naval base located in the eastern province, 35 Km south of Ras Al Khafji near the Kuwait-Saudi Arabia border along the Arabian Gulf and currently cover an area of 53Km². The base anticipates growth and high demand to expand to reach after future acquisition an area of 250 km². The scope of works is divided into six packages: 1) Marine Excavation, filling grading and dredging works for the Basin navigation Channel.

2) SRF Area Works includes:

• Wave breakers and Navigation Aids
• Underwater Infiltration Protection System
• 3 New Piers for 30 Ships 40m Long.
• Rehabilitation of Existing Piers.
• Floating Pontoons for Small Boats.
• Slip Away and Lifting Crane.
• Shaded Basin for 5 ships 40m Long.
• Dry Dock Shipyard.
• SRF Zone Site Plan
• New Seawater Pumping Station & Air Compressor for Fire Fighting
• New Diesel Tanks and Pumping Station (PS1)
• New Potable Water Tank (2000m3) and Pumping Station (PS2)
• New Drainage network consisting of 120m of Channels.
• New Irrigation System consisting of 900m of Pipes.
• New Electrical MV, LV, Telecom & Networks

3) Road and Infrastructure Works:

• Rehabilitation of existing Infrastructure.
• Topographical and Geotechnical surveys.
• New Road Works.
• New Seawater Intake Pumping Station for Desalination
• New Diesel Farm
• New Desalination Plant
• New Potable Water Network
• New Sewer Network & New Sewage Treatment Plant
• New Drainage Network
• New Irrigation System
• New Electrical MV, LV, Telecom & Networks

4) Building Works: a. Ships Administration Building / b. Workshop 2400 m2 c. Warehouse 3000m2 / d. Cold Store. e. Ship Workshop 3000m2 f. Central Fire Station. / g. Port Administration Bldg / h. Guard Houses.

5) Buildings, Utilities and Infrastructure Works in Airport: a. Helipads. / b. Workshops for Helicopters. / c. Helicopter Hangars. d. Fire Station in Airport /e. Diesel Tanks & Pumping Station-2 f. Underground Water Tank for Helicopter Hangar. g. Compressor Room for Helicopter Hangar.
